Swimming and Wellness

There are four large outdoor swimming pools in the Lungau. In St. Michael, Lungau, Mauterndorf, Mariapfarr and Tamsweg. In Tamsweg there is also an indoor swimming pool with wellness. In Mariapfarr there is also an extensive wellness center at the swimming pool. The villages are all within 5 to 10 minutes by car from Tamsweg. The swimming pool in Tamsweg is a 10-minute walk from Lungau Residence.
In summer, for example, day trips to beautiful lakes in Carinthia such as the Millstättersee or the Wörthersee are excellent.
